Home / Vacations / Don’t Go Small. Go Australia – Campaign Launched in Advance of Reopening

Tourism Australia launched an international campaign to encourage tourists to book their next holiday to Australia. The campaign was launched as the borders reopen for all fully vaccinated visitors and tourists on Monday.
It aims to remind travellers of the amazing experiences they can have in Australia.
The campaign launched with tactical out-of-home placements at landmark locations, including Piccadilly Circus in London and Times Square in New York.
Dan Tehan, Australia’s minister for trade and tourism, stated that Tourism Australia was ready to increase its international marketing efforts after the announcement of the reopening of the border.
Phillipa Harrison, Tourism Australia managing director, stated that the campaign will be broadcast across television, print and digital channels in key markets. It will feature some of Australia’s most famous destinations and experiences.
She explained that Australia has many iconic icons, which are loved and known around the globe, including the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru. “Now is the time for us to show off some of our lesser-known but equally amazing experiences and destinations,” she said.
