Qatar announced the opening of the accommodation booking site for FIFA World Cup fans.
The event will be held from November 21st through December 18th, and there will be 64 matches at eight venues.
Tickets are now available on a first-come, first-served basis.
All ticket holders will be “invited” to apply for accommodation through the Qatar Accommodation Agency.
This body will act as the primary booking platform for fans who are staying during the tournament. It also offers a wide range of accommodation options at different price points.
A statement said that fans can book accommodation through hotel/holiday websites and other channels, but the QAA portal is preferred because it offers the best selection of accommodation options at fair rates.
You will find a variety of accommodations options available, including apartments, villas and fan villages, as well as hotels, apartments and villas.
Fans attending FIFA World Cup matches must also obtain a Hayya Card, which is part of the Fan ID system.
This card can be either digital or physical and will include all information necessary for fans to visit the venue, such as details about accommodation and Covid-19 status.
Hayya Card holders will be able to access free public transport on matchdays and smart trip planning via the Hayya app.
